BeomDoh was named for a pose of the tiger being ready to fight against the enemy. BeomDoh is a basic pose for every attack and defense. So, it can be variously used for defense, attack, and movement forward or backward. BeomDoh is an applied position of NaeGa ShinJang. BeomDoh helps keep the Gi well circulated in JokGeun (Jok:foot, Geun:muscle) GyeongMaek (Gi channel) located outside the legs, strengthening the urinary bladder, kidney, liver, stomach, and gall bladder.
It also helps normalize (or correct) underdeveloped lower limb or buttocks. |
